At first I want to appreciate your work and presentation. You have mentioned feature extraction step in detail, I like to know which feature extraction algorithm you have been used to extract all mentioned information. Thank you for your question. The feature extraction process we proposed is meant to abstract the aircraft information in order to use them in machine learning algorithm, consists of the following: a binning method for coordinates information, binning method combine with one-hot encoding for airway information, one-hot encoding for time information, and direct use for the remaining information.
