Why did you choose DPC in your research? Also, what advantages does DPC have over "k-means", a distance-based clustering algorithm? Thank you for the question. As we know, the K-Means can only detect cluster with spherical forms while DPC can detect cluster with arbitrary form wwih noise. So we did chose the DPC.
