| What do you think about Virtual E-learning and Metaverse E-learning? Both are the same or different from each other? |
Thank you for the question Mr. Md Ariful Islam Mozumder from Inje University,
South Korea.
What I think about Virtual E-learning and Metaverse E-learning is that they both have the similar system where the main goal of these two methods is to help students and teachers to be able to keep doing learning activities online/virtually without having to meet face-to-face on-site directly due to the pandemic situation.
But if we talk about are they same or different from each other? I will say that they are similar (as I mentioned before) but not exactly the same, they also have differences each other too.
As we know that Metaverse E-learning had more advanced system, where we, as a students or teachers is enabling us to keep doing learning activities virtually but with more advanced digital environments. For example like: 3D virtual or augmented reality environments where we can access it by using specialized hardware, like VR headset for example. So the learning activity will giving us more immersive digital experiences while in Virtual E-learning doesn't have that kind of advanced systems.
Thank You, I hope your question is answered and can be understood. |

| Do you intend to deploy the system in your University? Thereby it can provide benefits to both students and academic staff. |
Thank you for the question Dr. Fan Liu from National University of Singapore, Singapore.
Yes, of course we had the intention to deploy and implement our system of our "ANGKASA" Project in our university. But due to the situation in our country, Indonesia, there are still many educational institutions located in rural areas and don't have enough budget to develop their own virtual e-learning system, so we prioritize for helping these educational institutions first.
Thank You, I hope your question is answered and can be understood. |

| Thank you for your presentation. Can you please explain why the proposed container virtualization makes the total system works faster than the existing open source virtualization? |
Thank you for the question Ms. Farhana Huq from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
That is a really good question by the way, so the question is why the proposed container virtualization makes the total system works faster than the existing open source virtualization? The answer is simple, it is caused by how the container virtualization method works. Container Virtualization method is using docker engines for controlling the containerization of the applications and the docker engine works by simply isolating only the applications (especially applications for e-learning platforms) along with dependencies & resources that includes everything needed to run the applications itself into a "container". A container is a lightweight, stand-alone, executable package of a piece of software that includes everything needed to run it. So from that principle, docker containers are much smaller and require far fewer resources from the host OS when running an e-learning platform application.
Meanwhile VM/full-virtualization method is using hypervisor for controlling and fully simulating an operating system into a virtual machine which require more resources from the host OS when running an e-learning platform application, that's why VM virtualization is ineffective, unlike container virtualization which is more effective due to its simple and lightweight way of how the container virtualization works.
Thank You, I hope your question is answered and can be understood. |
