Would it be possible to use Laser instead of LED in your proposed architecture? What would be its pros and cons?

Yes it can be used. But for lighting control applications, LED itself is sufficient as data rate is not in focus. But if the application requires high range and data rate then laser can be used. |

| Hello, Thank you for presenting this paper. Either this system support the feature of turning off the lights user sits or sleeps for a long time? |
Occupancy is sensed using PIR sensor. If there is atleast little movement under a zone then the lights will be turned ON. Else it will be turned OFF. |

Visible light communication (VLC) is an eco-friendly green optical wireless communication technology that combines illumination and communication. It is energy efficient as it utilizes illuminating energy for communication thereby reduces energy consumption and carbon footprint.
According to Markets and Markets, the VLC/Li-Fi market is projected to reach USD 18.2 billion by 2028, growing at a CAGR of 40.3% from 2023 to 2028. | How about the BER performance of your proposed method? |
In the proposed solution, BER was proportional to the distance between adjacent transceivers. Our experimental results show that upto 4 feet, BER was minimal and we are able to receive the packets successfully. |
