Thanks for the interesting presentation. Can the proposed method be applied to classification of unknown communication signals such as wireless LAN? Is it possible to distinguish between RF signals coming from multiple known drones? Thanks for your interest in my study. 1. Can the proposed method be applied to classification of unknown communication signals such as wireless LAN? Yes, the proposed method can be applied to classify and detect unknown communication signals of wireless LAN. We tested RF signals that use the IEEE 802.11 protocol. It works perfectly. 2. Is it possible to distinguish between RF signals coming from multiple known drones? Yes, it is possible to distinguish between RF signals coming from multiple known drones. The classification is performed using the IQ signals. The ResNet-based model can classify wireless signals with great accuracy. Differentiating drone signals from the same model however from different devices (i.e. fingerprinting problem) could be a challenging issue for our proposed method. We are currently investigating this problem. I hope that answers the question. Please let me know if you have any further questions. You can also send me an email.
